Hay Ride through Cheviot, Miniature train ride, straw maze, games and crafts, kids costume contest, and “Howl at the Moon” contest.

2016 CFA GOLF LEAGUE
The CFA Golf League ended its regular season with their Tournament Night – Wednesday, September 7, 2016. The 2016 League Champions consisted of
First place: Arnie Williams and Steve Thomas. The Second Place team consisted of Scott Tarvin and Dennis Fliehman. Congrats to all for a great year and special thanks to the league officers and especially Bill Strochinsky (once again) for the colossal task of consistently calculating all the figures and stats throughout the year. Also – Thanks, Arnie Williams – He also does a helluva job organizing our monthly Thursday Outings.
We had our Golf League Dinner at Keller’s. Also – Special thanks to Sam & Connie Keller and their crew for consistently putting together another great spread of food. Hope to see you next year at the March – 2017 kick-off meeting!
CHRISTMAS BASKETS
Chairman, John Ludwig and his fellow committee volunteers will be accepting names of families in need for the CFA Christmas Food Basket Distribution. John along with his delivery team combine efforts each year to make this one of our best community endeavors of the Holiday Season. Applications will be accepted for the next two months. 2017 NOMINATING COMMITTEES
Joe Williams (Red Ticket) and Denny Gates (White Ticket) have stepped up to the plate once again this year and have volunteered their time to put together our nominations for the CFA December Elections. 2016 CFA GOLF SCRAMBLE – A Great Time
The CFA Golf Outing was a success and I hope everyone had a great time. The temperature was great, the rain held off until the very end but the wind was a definite factor. The winning team was Milt’s Transmission finishing 13 under par. Each golfer received a door prize and the lucky ones received some nice gifts after dinner.

CFA CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT
The cornhole tournaments for July, August and September were great times had by all! Special thanks to Larry Wentz and Arnie Williams for organizing the games. Also thanks to our team of chefs for all of their hard work grilling out the fine dinners we had. Congratulations to the winners of all three tournaments.– Hope we can do it again next year!
